I can say @Lighter_xyz is one of the most well executed trading projects I’ve seen in all my years in crypto – and their success is well deserved.
And what were they met with by the community? The following warm reception from the maxi’s:
- Volumes are wash trading and fake
- Can steal your funds
- L2’s are non-compliant
All because they were able to execute and achieve something YOU were not? And push the entire onchain trading space to a better place (and show there’s room for more than one perps DEX)?
It is positive that the ridiculousness of those voices are now being seen for what they are and taken to task – but this is a great lesson to ignore the FUD and keep building to your vision. 💪
